say this movie, which talks about resistance during the 30's, certainly
illustrates the resistance, nowadays, of chinese artists against the
governement opression. If the movie shows us great chinese values [virtues],
it's done in order to bypass chinese censorship in a better way: however,
the message is understood.
ZIYI: without those sorts of constraints, there would be a lot more good
chinese movies.
INTERVIEWER VOICE: she's finally really courageous to say that: the precedent
lou ye movie was punished by censorship, and the director was laid off
